Tank-beds included in the Kavals should not be given out for cultivation except under the conditions laid down in Rule 16 L.R.R., and with the concurrence of the Deputy Commissioner. (G.O. No. R. 5828-37—L.R. 248-11-4, dated 18th April 1912) .
The following principle should be adopted regarding the disposal of lands out of released kavals in the State. Twenty per cent to be given to applicants belonging to depressed classes, 20 percent to Military applicants, 10 per cent to Political sufferers, 50% to bonafide Agriculturists who are either landless or insufficient holders.
